Thief Steals $10K in Cards from Iowa Card Shop

At approximately 5p on Saturday, April 23, 2016, Chuck’s Sports Cards Plus in Des Moines, IA was victimized by theft. Witnesses reported seeing a man using force to get into the shop. Accordingly, the thief pried open the store’s front door and got away with up to $10,000 worth of high-end sports cards. It’s believed that the thief knew what he was after before breaking in.1 Shop owner, Chuck Colbert said it may take a few days to figure out what’s missing.2

    Ivebeen to this shop a few times. The thief would have to know where the hjgher value cards are, as his shop is a bit of a hodgepodge of cards, with a lot of 5, 000 count boxes jammed with cards.
