Have you visited our store? Click here.In early September 2022, Derek Jeter and LegalZoom.com co-founder, Brian Lee launched Arena Club, a sports card collecting platform to serve as a marketplace for physical and digital cards.1
Collectors will be able to buy, sell, trade, and display their cards through a digital showroom.2
Arena Club plans to offer a card-grading service that implements computer vision and machine learning. It vows to be “quicker, more accurate and transparent.”
The card grading service will allow a customer to have a card slabbed and sent back to them, or held in a vault environment and have a digital version made to be featured in their showroom.
In February 2022, Jeter stepped down from the Miami Marlins’ front office. He was inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame in 2020 with a 99.75% vote from the writers.
