Coincidentally, both the Future and Now variety of the Barry Bonds 1999 E-X Century Essential Credentials have sold over the past two-month window, which isn’t likely to happen again anytime soon. I thought this would be a good time to compare the two sales since they’re both significant. In addition to the era association and rarity, I like that the slab flips feature the colors of the opposing cards. Given the proximity of these sales, they’re an accurate representation of current market values. Who knows when we’ll see another of the Now variety.
