2014 Topps Heritage Clubhouse Collection has been a staple in the Topps Heritage portfolio for a while and the insertion ratios on some of these cards has always been astounding. Even more interesting is that because hobby excitement for the game used thing has been completely obliterated from over-saturation, cards from this set usually get overlooked and sell for relatively small amounts, at least from what I’ve witnessed over the years. The fact here is that this is just another relic set and since most of us have seen this concept used countless times before, we’ll often just gloss over this stuff. However, if you consider the rarity of some of these cards and compare those figures to how much money it’d take to pull one from a pack, your perception of this set may change. It’s really quite something.
From the design perspective, 2014 Topps Heritage Clubhouse Collection showcases a vintage feel inspired, no doubt, by popular sets from Topps’ back catalog. I like the matte finish on these cards coupled with the vintage theme and bright colors. Relics aside, these cards are quite attractive.
