2013 USA Baseball Champions Legends Certified Die-Cut Baseball Cards

2013 USA Baseball Champions Legends Certified Die-Cut baseball cards feature an excellent portrayal of two loved concepts incorporated in a modern release – die cut and holo-foil finish. This set is beautiful and it’s not too ambitious. There’s no 1/1 and the parallels aren’t too many. Four over the base is a nice middle-ground. It gives us enough to chase without leaving us feeling broke and exhausted. I can really appreciate that.

Given Panini’s licensing limitations, this 38-card set depicts star players both past and present in their USA uniforms. The set features tons of familiar names and amazing photos. If you’re chasing your player’s run, here’s what to expect:

• Base: These feature flat silver foil and have a stated print run of 699.
• Mirror Red: These feature red holo-foil and have a stated print run of 299.
• Mirror Blue: These feature blue holo-foil and have a stated print run of 199.
• Mirror Green: These feature green holo-foil and have a stated print run of 199.
• Mirror Gold: These feature gold holo-foil and have a stated print run of 25.

For obvious reasons, the Mirror Gold is the toughest. The Mirror Green, however, has proven to be peculiarly tough as well. I was able to put this run together during one week in June of 2013 and the Mirror Green was the final version I secured. If you’re surprised by the fast lead time it took me to get all of these, what I can say is there’s often a small window right after a product is released when a bunch of stuff surfaces all at once. If you can swing it financially, and collect a certain player, this is certainly a window you should aim to take advantage of. Over the years, I’ve seen a few Mirror Gold’s surface but encounters are becoming more rare with each passing year. As more of these cards find their ways into permanent homes, they will become more difficult to find.
