2000 E-X E-Xceptional is a 15-card set that features some of the era’s most popular baseball players. The set showcases a beautiful lenticular design with three unique parallels and print runs. While the E-Xceptional set was issued in basketball as well, its concept was likely inspired by the success of 1997-98 E-X2001 Jambalaya, which to this day stands as one of the most popular sets to come out of the 1990s basketball card market. While it’s a slightly different take on the concept, 2000 E-X E-Xceptional has also become a collector favorite, and is an excellent introduction to the 2000s block.
