1997 Donruss Preferred Precious Metals is a 25-card set that features player photos printed on cards that contain one gram of either .999 silver, gold, or platinum depending on the player. The cards were released sealed in a thin plastic sleeve. With just 100 sets produced, it’s one of the rarest issues of 1997. Given the small number of cards in the set, the player roster features some of the most dominant players of the era.
