Note: This product hasn’t yet been produced. These are conceptual mock-ups and prototype to collect feedback both good and bad. We’re still optimizing the design.
VERSION 4 (Under Consideration):
Version 4 is a slight revision of Version 3.
These are ultra premium card stands with a more superior design than anything on the market. They will help you achieve the best presentation possible for your trading cards.
Dimensions:
- Height 3.5″
- Width 3″
- Depth just over 3″
Pros:
- Stackable: We’ve designed this stand with storage practicality in mind and will fit in either of the two side rows of most Super Shoe Boxes.
- Stable: Sick of your stands tipping over just from barely touching them? Our card stands are designed with stability in mind; they won’t tip over easily.
- Available in Clear Acrylic, or Standard Plastic (which can be made in any color).
- Fits most commonly used card cases: The scoop in the front where the card case sits is designed to fit the most commonly used trading card cases: 20p-180p+ toploaders & One Touch Magnetics, and Graded Card Cases.
- Brand Compatible: We can make these with or without your logo printed on them. The area on the front is made to include a logo if requested.
- Rounded Corners: Rounded corners offer a smoother (and safer) presentation.
- Thin layers of rubber on stand feet: This is our favorite characteristic. The rubber helps prevent sliding on tables when shifted or bumped.
Cons:
- Typical countertop footprint
- High production and shipping cost

Feedback:
Love or hate something about these designs? We’d love to get your feedback. Please let us know in the comments section.
What’s the hole for? And why would a collector buy 1,000 of these at a time? Only a store would do that.
Excellent question. The hole is there for easy finger retrieval. We’ve updated the article with this information.
More feedback received:
Finger hole, sharp corners, and kickstand are all unnecessary
Patrick,
It’s Jaysun from the Frank Thomas group. I’m interested to understand the manufacturing process that’ll be used to fabricate these stands. Depending on which method is used this could define certain key aspects because of the limitations that the different manufacturing process have.
Bent plastic
Extruded plastic
Injection molded
Each process has their own benefits and limitations and can make or break a products success
Patrick,
I received your email for the branded card stands and it caught my curiosity since I’ve been looking for something. My feedback is as follows:
Version 1: I love the eye appeal and the sturdy quality material used. However, I feel that the card angle is too severe.
Version 2: This is my least favorite. Footprint, sharp edges, and the hole I don’t find necessary.
Version 3: This would be my choice. The design is perfect. Love the thin layer of rubber underneath, color options, and the rounded corners.
Final thoughts. Prices and pack quantities seem to be a good value for what your getting.
Hi Victor,
Thank you for your thorough feedback. I really appreciate the time you’ve taken to share your thoughts. Many thanks.
The individual card holders are already out there, maybe go with a multiple card holder of 4 -6 and up to 10 to be placed on a desk or shelve, with each card spaced apart a few inches and maybe a slight curve to it circle type , still waiting for someone to make plastic shoeboxes and plastic 3500 count ones,
The only problem with the current stands available on the market is that they aren’t sturdy; they fall over with very little disruption. This is the key reason why we’re redesigning them. They’re be more costly but they’ll be much better at doing their job.
Hi,
So has Version 11 been completely scrapped or is this still in the works as a possible option? I really like V 11 a lot. It looks like it would take quite a bit of force if someone were to bump the table for the card to fall from the holder and I like the position of where my logo would be. The negative of not stacking could be “annoying” but I myself probably wouldn’t use more than five at any given time so it wouldn’t be the biggest issue for me personally, but I see how it could be if many were used at any given time.
There is one holder that seems to have everything “figured out” that I found on ebay recently. Out of respect for your website and potential product (I appreciate both very much) I won’t give the name, but I will say they have a style that is uber secure by almost using a cell phone style grip on both sides of the card. You can also make more of a table or even permanent display out of it as well. Maybe there’s some ideas you can “borrow” and make the ultimate product! Keep up the good work.
